Notice is hereby given that:
- 28th Annual General Meeting ( AGM) of Members of Ambika Cotton Mills Limited will be held on Friday, the 23rd September 2016 at 12.00 Noon at The Residency, 1076, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore – 641018. The Annual Report including Notice of AGM and Explanatory statement has been posted/ emailed to the members and is also available in the Company’s website: www.acmills.in
- Transaction of all business of the AGM through remote E- Voting is arranged to the Members through Central Depository Services (India) Limited ( CDSL). The remote E- Voting will be available from Tuesday, 20th September 2016 at 9.00 a.m to Thursday 22nd September 2016 at 5.00 p.m. This facility will not be available thereafter. The procedure for remote e-voting is provided in the notice of AGM.
- Voting through Ballot will also be arranged for the members/proxies present at the AGM. A member who has voted through remote e-voting may attend the AGM but is not eligible to vote by Ballot at the AGM.
- The cut-off date for reckoning the eligibility of members for voting is Friday, 16th September, 2016. Any person holding shares in the Company at the close of business hours on the cut – off date alone is eligible for voting through remote e-voting or by Ballot at the AGM.
- Any person who has acquired shares after the dispatch of the notice may obtain the User ID and password by sending an email request to helpdesk.evoting@cdslindia.com or info@skdc-consultants.com

Notice is further given that the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from Saturday, 17th September 2016 to Friday, 23rd September 2016 (Both the days inclusive) for the purpose of accounts/28th AGM.
